Yes figure here quotes 60% higher but 60% higher then what precisely. If the original figure was for arguments sake 5% 60% of that equates to less than another 3% - depends on how the maths are done relative or actual.

Just confirms my gut feeling that I should probably be taking utrogestan.
I have to say that one of the things that puts me off (laziness ?) is having to take a pill everyday and having to stand around for ten mins every morning like a scarecrow while the gel drys/soaks in. I know that is a small price to pay for a higher level of safety but I must say putting a patch on once a week and leaving it there must be just about the simplest HRT regime there has ever been and probably why I have stuck with it. Also any change is a bit of an ordeal when you have something that works well, it's the leap from the known into the unknown.
many thanks for you input ladies I am very grateful for your time, I tend to take everything on board and finally get to my own conclusions in the end ( by which time all the info has gone out of date or a product discontinued lol)

But I really enjoy the calming effect of the Utrogestan. Jacks

How are you feeling today Susan. Better I hope. After me saying I was sleeping really well, last night was a bit iffy - but it wasn't an hormonal problem. My bloody cat woke me up at about midnight. I tried to ignore his scuffling around in the next room, but I eventually had to get up to see what he was doing, and he had a dead frog that he was very proud of. I wish now I'd gotten up earlier because it might have still been alive and I could have saved it.

Not to bad Rambo. Sorry you had a bad night, our cat comes and wakes me up as well first thing. countrycottage I would say that my aches etc are less with HRT as well, still not gone completely though but enough for it to make we want to stick with the HRT. Glad you are felling a bit better.
