Hi Rosalie I have finally made my way here, suffering a bit from 'forum fatigue' due to what happened to me on MM, and the fact that AOL is so keen to protect you from SPAM it makes it hard to join places. But just wanted to say (which i never managed to say on t'other place) that I found your posts quietly inspirational. The way that you managed to stick to your guns with your GP and got them to continue to prescribe your HRT after 18 years and after you were 60 even though they weren't that keen, is worth commending in my eyes. xxxx

That's good to hear Rosalie. Perhaps they are on it or intend to go on it themselves. My GP is pro it as well thank goodness, but then I get those ' oh no I hope she doesn't leave moments' the two guys are great on other things ut clueless on meno and HRT they freely admit they leave it all to her, and on the one occasion one had to prescribe he had to resort to the 'big book' and it was a disaster as he gave me stuff for wome without a womb and I didn't spot it. Still it's always handy to have a PAC of oestrogel only patches I guess. xxxx

I have so many tubes of oestrogel that they do not fit in a large storage box and a years supply of Utrogestan - in fact husband is going to buy me a second one and we are going to count them lol. I keep them in the cellar. No way would I ever get into an emergency situation Jacks

Tsk Tsk hormone supplies should definitely be subject to the philosophy that "greed is good" not "less is more " ;D
