Hello to all members. I am new on this site. I am 51 years old and newly postmenopausal. I have been undecided about HRT and struggled with joint pain and tiredness. Any suggestions for alternative treatments would be beneficial.

to MSI newbaby1234. I am 55 and three years postmenopausal and was also undecided about HRT. In the end I decided to see how I was without it and I just let nature take its course. I have never tried alternative treatments so sorry I can't offer you any suggestions.

Candy I had vile joint pain relieved by hormones. I just knew I loathed the idea of menopause even when I was a teenager. We had a family tragedy - my grandmother remarried a widower - his late wife gassed herself and daughter because of the effects of menopause. The whole issue makes me so angry I have researched deeply into it and yes I'm a fan of Annie Evans, John Stevenson and Professor Studd. I have written a book which my husband is tidying up about the politics of menopause and why society gains when women don't use hormones. There is a huge industry including medicine, supplements and carehomes. Jacks
