I joined the forum today so I could post a thank you. Over the past year or so I have visited and found answers to many of my questions.
I think it was on this forum that I first came across Prof Studd and have since had a consultation with him. When I first started taking estrogel it wasn't very pleasant... it did help with hot flushes, aches & pains, tiredness and vaginally atrophy which was wonderful and the testim certainly does wonderful for my sex drive but on the down side I experienced, very sore breast tenderness and blurry vision! On utrogestan I do feel a bit weird but really only the first couple of days. I think the weirdest thing was that I felt as if my cardiovasular system was somehow being fired back up again and it didn't entirely like it!
Reading your posts helped me to keep going and I think I am now getting the hang of it a bit better! My system has settled a bit though my heart does still feel a bit edgy at times and if I forgot to take my oestrogen for a day the double vision thing happens (I think it must be to do with changes in my oestrogen levels) Dr Studd thinks I'm imagining it but I did find something about it somewhere so I am not alone in this experience... which in itself helps somehow.
I did contacted Prof Studd a couple of times and while I didn't exactly feel listened too!!! I did feel able to trust his recommendations... and he was actually there to speak to which is more than I experienced with another clinic I visited before I found Prof Studd.
This forum has made such a difference and I wanted to say thank you
