Hi, as I've posted before, been on hrt this time since Jan 2011 & for the last 9 months on estrodot 75 utrogestan 200mg for days 15- 26.
Guess I'm still peri? withdrawal bleed comes regularly on Day 1 & is light & doesn't last too long. (so presumably my uterus lining is not building up too much)
Anyway my question is: Today is day 1 & we've just booked a holiday for the end of August, which means that my period will come right in the middle of it. OK, not a disaster, but it would be nice not to have it then.
Can I delay/prevent a bleed by either starting the utrogestan early, say next week on day 8 instead of 15 & having a short cycle with a bleed before we go
or alternatively, miss out the utro this month & have a longer cycle.
Know some of you take it every 2 months, but don't know if you're peri or not, or whether it makes any difference.
Any thoughts?
Thanks xx

Sorry I keep on typing estrodot, I mean 'estradot.'

Thanks for that Candy, I'm tempted to miss out the utro.
My last 'normal' period was in Jan 2011 & I hadn't had many throughout 2010. Don't feel my cycle is strong enough to break through, but you never know.
Guess there's no harm in experimenting for one month.

Thanks Bellaciao, just got to decide now whether to start utrogestan 2 weeks later than usual, or- as I'm more inclined to do- omit it completely this month & just take estradot on hols.
