Sandrena gel or Oestrogel - what's the difference?

im on sandrena and have been on oestrogel..sandrena has less of a carrying ingrediant than oestrogel so you dont need as much gel to get the same amuont of oestrogen...a plus if like me you need a lot of oestrogel. I use 3 sachets (1mg) a day.. my friend is on 4 sachets a day and gets levels of about 1100.

you can also use the same place for your sandrena...you will build up your own little matrix patch there, i use my left outer arm.

ive not been able to find any info as to whether its a synthetic or bio identical form oe oestrogen either!

The information seems excellent to me Bella.I am going to try and found out information about Estring incase any vagifem 25 users which to go over to it from December. I don't think my info will be of the same quality but I now know your secret and am going to try 'summary of product characteristics' in the hope I can find something useful.

well ladies...i was on 3.5 sachets of sandrena applying twice a day but noticed that my sleep was getting disturbed and i was having tearyness in between doses and my hands and elbows ached like crazy....ive dropped down to 3 sachets and started to apply it all in the morning and whatdya know! sleep back to normal, no aches nd mood is really good!

Really pleased to read that countrycottage.

I think where hormones are concerned everybody has a kind of 'sweet spot' where they can feel the best they are going to, also possibly that 'sweet spot' can change now and again as we go through this process so it is realistic to expect to have to tweak things.

i guess it's a matter of trying to stay in tune with one's own body.

Glad things seem to be better for you on the 3 sachets.
