For the last 2 days I have felt so sickly...just feel sick, not being sick. Making me anxious too. Constant it is.
Any ideas with anything to help?
Peppermint tea tends to give me heartburn...
Thanks

Hi Stumpy Go to the chemist and ask for Motillium - it is available OTC half the strength of the prescribed version. If you are questioned by the pharnacist say you have used it previously for nausea. It is an anti nausea drug and also effective for settling bloating. Jacks

arrrrgh milk of magnesia - recall being a kid and having the vile stuff given to me. Pinky can have my share. A small tablet seems so much more civilised albeit cowardly of me ;D Jacks

We had that when we were children as well, Jacks. I can almost still remember the chalky taste - it worked, mind you.
I had spells of nausea earlier in the peri stage, but it seems to have gone now, for the most part, thank goodness.

I'm a cringing little mouse where milk of magnesia is concerned - disgusting stuff. However my father beat me. He spent a week convincing my mother that his cough was due to tuberculosis. Mother grew annoyed and dosed him with a vile onion flavoured cough mixture. Dad threw up all over the stairs but never dared cough in front of her again

Thanks Pinky
I am takign Femoston 1/10 been on it about 6 months now.
All was good till the last couple of months. I didnt have aperiod for 8 months before starting it & they started again after 2 month on it.
Last 2 months I have felt so well whilst on period, then have really bad 3 weeks again.
Am upset about it, as was doing great.
Sooo anxious today, tingling all over too. Doesnt help that OH is away over night tonight, got all teary on him this morning at 5am, bless him.
Son lives right down south so cant go for a visit....too much time spent on my own is a major problem i think.

Oops no I didn't mean my father beat me as in hitting me. I meant he was more of a coward about medicine. My father never laid a finger on me. Jacks

Must say the nausea and anxiety are my worse symptons as well.. I also drink ginger tea but the other thing that seems to relieve the nausea is a glass of water with a spoonful of apple cider vinegar (not ordinary vinegar).

Hi
I think it 'may' be an anxiety thing...seems to be worse when OH is away.
Awful night last night.
Ive ordered Sevens Seas Hormonal Balance - its magnesium, zince & Vit B6. Supposed to be good for nausea & anxiety.
HRT can deplete body of magnesium so i read in tinternet...
