Mid-way through the prog section and my god, is it hitting me hard again, struggling badly - so depressed, mood swing city, really taking it out on OH, then full of remorse, affects my brain so much, awareness of everything negative magnified x 100, unbearably so.
On Cyclogest (no bleed as estro intake so low) but hate taking it so much - been through the spectrum of progs now - am worse on Utrogestan than Cyclo.
Has anybody tried Duphaston - is it still available in UK?
(Sorry for the whinge, I don't contribute/write much as I don't have anything good to say, meno has ruined me.)

hi Night-owl I did great with Duphaston. It is no longer available seperately in the UK. It can be bought online. You could buy a months worth and see how you are with it. Femosten contains it and this is availble in the UK. Jacks xxxx

I dont know..i suppose I could 'suggest' it GP, they arent very forthcoming though.
Suffered for 18months before they admitted I was peri & gave me something...took me having a near breakdown at the surgery to do it though.

male doctors are often more understanding about hormones. I honestly believe that often female doctors just take the view " it is your turn to suffer menopause and that is that" I had a very stupid female gynaecologist who recommended menopace for everything from flushes to incontinence - silly cow Jacks
