It is double dealing hypocrisy that women are brainwahed into being afraid to use hormones and yet transgender male to females get them for a life time. I have yet to hear of a transgender who wanted to be "menopausal" Has anyone else pondered on these double standards? Jacks

Nothing will ever be said and I have never heard of a transgender person wanting to experience "female menopause" Just hypocrisy and sexism.

Here in Germany the transgenders are taking 4 pumps of estrogel and the doctors are fine with that. But we should take less then 2 to be safe...

ha ha we should take less than that to be sure and suffer menopause. If estrogen was dangerous I think it would affect trans sexuals more then women. Women are being conned big time. Jacks

Women approaching menopause are told that having the optimal amount of hormones is dangerous and yet transgenders are given carte blanche to take them as required and that includes female to male and testosterone. Younger women are given hormones in the form of contraceptives - evidently this is considered safe. Society gains from preventing unwanted pregnancies. Society does not value women in menopause and is often actively hostile in tagging them as "women of a certain age" Rules are laid down for these women. Hormones are restricted and they are then told they are at risk of many diseases and are advised to adjust their lifestyles to prevent accidental enjoyment taking place. Sex is permissable with a handful of cold gloop applied to the passage to keep the partner happy and the women are advised to dress modestly and wear non statement cosmetics. Why are women putting up with this appalling treatment by society? I believe society has a subconscious motivation to mark out all older infertile females as immediately identifiable by their appearance and confine them to the dustbin of life. Jacks
