Hi
Does any take a vitamin supplement? Do you find them helpful with energy levels etc?
Do you think you can 'overdose' on them if you ate quite healthily as well?
How long do they take to have any effect?

Hi Pinky!!!
Thanks for that.
Am going to try Magnesium OK by Wassen - one daily
Has good reviews on net. Has B12 plus others in it.
Like you say, listen to experience.

We don't take many vitamin supplements - just bought some fish oils because we don't eat enough fish. For energy I use DHEA , Vitamin D3 for bones and general health and for mood 5HTP. Jacks

I hada a vitamin D overdose with supplements (5,000 UI a day). I didn't have any symptoms, but a big kidney stone was found during regular abdominal scan. I have been referred to a Nephrologist (lovely lady) who has told me to stop the vitamin D supplements. If you take vitamin D supplements you also have to take vitamin K2 and ideally boron and zinc to direct calcium absorption to bones instead of blood. The studies available to date have conflicting results, but better be safe than sorry. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5872784/academic.oup.com/ajcn/article/109/6/1578/5475743
