Here we go,after 2 weeks the period started again This time I will follow the instructions of the gyno and continue with the Utrogest for the next 5 days. I really don't know why I'm bleeding so often. The gyno said maybe is the Estrogel dose too high. This bleeding is so annoying, because I have already low ferritin and iron. Do you know from your own experiences or from other ladies who also have such often bleedings on HRT? It's not spotting, but a real period.

I dealt with it by raising estradiol, taking 100mg of progesterone daily and 25mcg of thyroxine. Jacks

Today I'v got my new blood results and my thyroid levels are significantly improved since I have raised the dose from 25 mcg tyroxine on 50. Maybe this polymennorhea is just a peri menopause related, like 5 months without a period before, although I was already on HRT? It's not unusually for the perimenopausal ladies to have such erratic cycles, right? But on HRT too?? Maybe I'm soon through and this are the last turbulences before the bleedings stop completely...However, I'm sick and tired of it!

Just talked shortly with my gyno on the phone, he is supposing that I'm using too much Estrogel ( 2 and a half pumps), that's why the lining is building up so frequently and I'm bleeding every 2 weeks, so I should continue with Utrogest, but he would recommend me less Estrogel :-( After the call I insisted on an appointment with his boss, so I will see her in 10 days and I hope she isn't sharing his opinion... I don't have sore breasts at all, so I can't believe that I have too high estrogen levels! Unfortunately my endo didn't check the E and P last week, so I don't know if the levels are raising since I have increased the dose and improved the applying technique in january.

Oh no.. Yesterday this too early bleeding stopped finally and today it's starting again, with typical headache as usual before the period and light cramping in the stomach :-( Thursday was the last day on Progesterone, so maybe that's why? This is so very annoying and worrying... Should I wait till the appointment on friday or should I go to the gyno already on monday, what do you think?

Rusalka, Candy is right and yes i know you bled only a few weeks ago and were advised to continue the progesterone for a further 5 days which you did. But you do have to remember you have been tinkering quite a bit with your hormones lately so im really not surprised your bleeding again. Do as she says and take your break from P but i wouldn't panic. All this with your increase in thyroid meds will be playing havoc. As we said before try and maintain an hrt regime for a while to let your body settle into it and it will sort itself out.. Lainey xx Thank you for your comforting words! I know, I'm panicking very quickly, I'm always so worried about unknown and unusual symptoms... I hope the doc on Friday will have some good idea, but I'm afraid that she would say I have to decrease my Estrogel, which I don't want to...Anyway, I have to wait and tolerate the bleeding till then.. xx

Candy, I had my first bleeding 16 days after the last bleeding, I was day 6 on Progesterone then and I was continuing with it like the gyno said. The bleeding stopped after 4 days and I had one day break and then yesterday it started again. So I'm officially day 22 of the cycle and I don't know if this now is the official withdrawal bleed after stopping P after 10 days, and the bleeding on the day 16 was "only" an intermenstrual bleeding or it's the same bleeding which had one day break in-between... It's confusing, I know, and for my body too, because during the last 2 days I felt good and since yesterday evening I again feel very PMS-like, like one week ago. Up's and down's all the time, within shortest time... This bleedings started when I increased the Estrogel and I don't know if this happen because I need more P, or even more E...SOmehow I have the feeling that it could be the P causing me this erratic cycles... But at least my anxiety is much less and I don't feel depressed, only grumpy and tired...

Thanks Candy! My gyno said that on HRT I shouldn't have this bleedings, so probably Utrogest is to0 weak for me. Which I just can't imagine... Oh yes, the fact, that I still may stay pregnant ( although there is only a tiny chance, but still...) it's also so annoying! I wish I will be free of this risk completely... Actually, if on HRT and still have bleedings- how do you know if you are pregnancy risk free??

I'm very careful regarding unwanted pregnancy, but I wish soon we could give up the annoying condoms...

No, my husband won't do that, he has a colleague who has problems like pains and difficulties with reaching O, so we were both scared when we heard his story. And me neither has a wish to go under the knife...
