Hi everyone, am hoping someone may be able to help me? My doctor has prescribed me the estalis-continuous patch, and wondering if anyone else has or is using this? I am very very nervous about starting it, I do suffer badly from anxiety, and this is not helping my worries!. I have tried to find info on the net, or other peoples experiences, but nothing .. the instructions say that it is for women who still have a uterus, but I have had a hysterectomy, so am confused as to why he would give this to me in the first place??? He has also said there is another I can try if I am not happy with this, and that is Premarin, but I have read some awful things about that!! .. I so don't know what to do, yet I so want to be rid of these awful Hot Flushes and sleepless nights, as well as them making me feel physically and emotionally unwell .. Does anyone at all have any advice?? thank you so much ..

Hi Candy, thank you sooo much for your help! I think I will go for the Premarin, specially because your mum is 82 and still going strong .. How lucky you are to still have her, the only thing I can think is maybe my doc forgot I have had a hysterectomy, he is only a new doctor for me after all, but then, I did also say I preferred to try the patch, as I had heard it was safer .. but now you have said this, you certainly have helped me, all I gotta do is swallow that little pill now .. lol .. am having a hot flush right now as I type .. does not help to be in the heat of Queensland much either!! THANK YOU! :-)
