Hands off my tits ! todays message. I am tired of being cajoled, threatened and ignored by the NHS breast cancer screening program. They have ignored correspondence going back two years that I am not taking part in their debacle of a screening program. I seriously do not do standing in a porta cabin in a car park waiting in line like a cow in the abbotoir waiting for my breasts to be crushed by a hurried harassed technician.
As a result they keep threatening to remove me from my GP list - can anyone tell me when a mammogram has prevented breast cancer and why is removing someone from a practice a health benefit.
They are my tits - I own the copyright and I reserve the right to choose where and when I have a mammogram. They do not belong to the NHS to score political points with - the NHS ignores my thyroid disease but tries to demand access to my breasts for target purposes. I hope they enjoy dealing with bureaucrat extraordinaire - my husband.
Every woman should have the right to choose her breast screening program without receiving threatening letters from local authority. I am going to contact health minister Jeremy Hunt as this was a disgraceful letter designed to upset the recipient.
